As a Service Delivery Manager in Wellington, you'll be reporting to the Area Service Delivery Manager, focused on ensuring the delivery of all products and services offered by New Zealand Post meet our service standards and customers' expectations.  This is a fast paced and challenging role with oversight of a mix of contractors and employees including: Posties, Delivery Agents, Couriers, Rural Delivery Contractors and Contract Posties.  

You'll be a key point of contact for customers, including dealing with escalations and proactively seeking out opportunities for growth and customer service enhancement.

Work hours for all roles are Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm, with the exception of one Wellington based which is Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8am – 5pm.

We're looking for a standout leader with a “can do” attitude, who puts the customer at the front of everything they do to ensure nothing gets in the way of delivering what our people care about.

  • Strong Leadership experience in an operational/service delivery environment
  • Experience managing a large group of both contractors and employees
  • Proven experience in driving optimum team performance in a highly customer driven environment
  • Strength in building customer relationships
  • Strong commercial acumen, including budgets, financial and analytical skills.
  • Significant experience with health and safety
