There are many of us - involved in postal, banking, communication, data management, logistics and distribution services - helping New Zealand run.  We are in the midst of transformational change and with that comes new challenges from a safety and wellbeing perspective and we have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced practitioner to join us as a Safety and Wellbeing Business Partner.

The focus on safety at NZ Post has been sharpened through 2017 and the criticality of lifting the capability of leaders to lead safety, within a strong Safety and Wellbeing culture remains a priority.  So, as a Safety and Wellbeing Business Partner will you bring a sound knowledge of New Zealand Health and Safety regulatory framework's along with the insight and extensive experience required to develop the systems tools and resources to contribute positively to managing safety and wellbeing of all NZ Post stakeholders.

There are two business critical focus areas for our team right now - the shift from the traditional postal delivery model to the new Paxsters; and the introduction of cutting edge technology in our mail and parcel processing area. You'll have the opportunity to support our leaders to promote our safety culture and policies, manage risks and incidents and provide meaningful analysis and reporting.

Hours will typically be Monday to Friday, however some flexibility in working hours will be required recognising the business operates 24 hours 7 days a week.

You'll be an experienced and passionate professional with the ability to take ownership of projects and build relationships with our leaders and external stakeholders; including unions and auditors. You'll bring experience implementing and managing H&S technology solutions, demonstrate a commitment to your professional development and a sound knowledge of H&S legislation. There's a real opportunity to make an impact in this role and contribute to both continuous improvement and new initiatives.
