  • Ensure our people are consistently connected and engaged with our strategy
  • Be responsible for the account management of your own business unit
  • Opportunity for the role to be based in Wellington or Auckland

Around since 1840, New Zealand Post has a long history – and a great future. There are many of us – involved in postal, banking, communication, data management, logistics and distribution service – helping New Zealand run. Our eyes are firmly on the future and making sure we bring the best of it to our customer and communities.

We are looking for three (based across Wellington and Auckland) bright, creative and collaborative Communications Account Advisers to work across our business units and programmes of work.

You'll be part of New Zealand Post's innovative and agile Strategic Communications team, working towards developing informative, engaging and vibrant content that reflects who we are, what we do and how we work.  There's lots of change happening here and we need you to actively contribute to a team culture that is committed and engaged in achieving the highest quality communications and business objectives.  You will not only enjoy working in an agile environment – you will thrive in one!

You'll ensure that our people and stakeholders are consistently connected and engaged with our strategy through the day-to-day responsibility of an allocated business unit, while being equally comfortable with both proactive and reactive programmes of work.

Key to your success in this position will be your previous experience in a communications role (ideally 5+ years), particularly working with senior leaders to develop and manage communication strategies.  You'll think strategically, offer effective advice, and communicate and engage with technical, complex and ambiguous issues.

It goes without saying that you'll have experience working across a range of channels and have sound knowledge of practical tools, methodologies, techniques and channels.  You'll be eager to learn, solutions focussed and write great copy.

In return, we'll give you opportunity, development and the chance to make a significant difference in an organisation undergoing transformational change.

Apply online with your cv and covering letter, or for more information please contact Olivia Jacobs, Talent Sourcing Specialist on 027 604 6834.

Applications close on Tuesday 20 March 2018.

All applicants will be required to provide proof of their eligibility to work in New Zealand.  Appointees will be subject to a security check and may be required to undertake a drug test.
