We have a new opportunity for a customer-focussed and efficient Accounts Administrator to join New Zealand Post in a newly created position of Accounts Specialist as we undertake a period of massive growth. 

This role sits within our Transport and Logistics function, who are dedicated to providing our customers with flexible value-added services to meet their specific logistics business needs.  Whether satisfying a customer's requirements for a medium-sized storage and supply chain solution, or a multi-branch national logistics infrastructure, Contract Logistics has the scale, scope and technology to provide its customers with a warehousing solution so that they can get back to focussing on their core business.

The person in this position will be focussed on providing effective and efficient billing of all activity in and out of the Logistics accounting system.  You'll be responsible for ensuring that all data entry, invoice/credit notes, reconciliation and reporting is relevant, timely, accurate and complete for the billing of our customers.

As a key point of contact for our customers, you'll love working with people, have excellent communication skills and will work hard to understand and anticipate solutions.

Our ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

  • several years' experience in an accounts administration role - ideally in a similar industry,
  • have a strong customer service focus, and experience in working with a wide range of customers,
  • be an accounts all-rounder with experience in invoicing, credits, claims and accounts payable/receivable,
  • proven data entry and computer literacy, with exposure to accounting and administrative systems.

We're looking for a natural organiser who enjoys a busy and varied hands-on role.  Someone with excellent attention to detail, who can multi-task, is action oriented and with great problem solving abilities.

Our core business hours are Monday to Friday; however flexibility is required recognising the 24/7 nature of our organisation.
