  • Add real value and join NZ Post at an exciting time of change.
  • Development opportunity with a broad scope.
  • Based in Highbrook, South Auckland (with free onsite parking).

New Zealand Post has been a vital link for New Zealanders for over 170 years, and in the future we will continue to be a trusted Kiwi company that helps customers succeed and helps New Zealand grow.

At New Zealand Post we are entering an exciting period of change as we transform the way we work and deliver technology as we keep in step with the changing needs of our customers and the opportunities that digital technologies deliver.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Analyst to take the next step in their career and join us to provide insight and analysis on our IT suppliers and provide support with the RFP and Procurement process.  You'll develop a deep understanding of the Vendor landscape as well as comprehensive knowledge of the NZ Post IT Infrastructure and its future strategy.  Alongside a solid understanding of our users, the market place, the competition and of any future technology trends you will  assist our Commercial Managers with their responsibility to be the single point of commercial accountability for all the NZ Post IT services, vendors and IT Procurement.

As well as helping on managing the bid process for RFPs, you will take responsibility for a portfolio of suppliers ensuring that all commercial aspects of our engagement are completed fully.  You will also assist our strategy team with in-depth analysis of supplier spend and performance.

Key to your success in the role will be solid and demonstrable commercial Analyst experience, ideally gained within a comparable corporate procurement environment.  Tertiary qualified, you'll have advanced Microsoft Excel Modelling skills and be comfortable working with complex analysis, assessment and delivery of appropriate recommendations.  You'll thrive on working in a fast paced, change environment, but what will really set you apart is your strong interpersonal and relationship management skills, allowing you to interpret information from business stakeholders into concise specifications.

In return, we'll offer you the chance to work in a great team, and get stuck in to some really interesting work to add real value.
