We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Service Delivery Manager to join the NZ Post team.  This is a challenging and important role leading the strategic direction and tactical execution and management of our Courier Contractors, based in our Waikato Operations Centre.

Reporting into the Waikato Area Service Delivery Manager, you'll have a seat on the Waikato Senior Leadership team, where your strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to plan, scope and measure the success of strategic initiatives and projects will be highly valued. 

A bit about you

You'll need a high degree of commercial acumen, have a good understanding of core revenue and profit drivers and be experienced with financial and  budget management.  

You're a strategic thinker, but you also know how to solve practical problems and get results.  Key performance measures include commercial and service performance, productivity, safety results, people leadership and engagement. 

Key to your success will be your solid experience with managing the performance (financial and service) of third parties through a formalised contractual framework.

You'll be a true people leader, using your strong interpersonal skills to confidently lead, coach and motivate your team while quickly building trust, influencing and maintaining strong positive relationships with internal and external contacts at all levels.

Hours will typically be Monday to Friday, however, flexibility in working hours will be required recognising the business operates 24 hours 7 days a week.
