The Stream Lead – Recalculation is responsible for leading the recalculation stream of work as part of the overarching Holiday Act Programme of work.  This role is pivotal in managing the work flow of data to and from Ernst & Young (offshore), and the modelling and validation of data as it comes through and the coordination of the recalculation team in managing the work. This validation is vital for the success of this programme of work. 

This role will also work closely with the Stream Lead – Go forward (systems side of the Programme), and the Team Manager Payroll in ensuring that any additional payroll system changes are captured and any payroll processes are reviewed and changed to ensure compliance with the Holidays Act, and that the revised processes are easy to manage.

This position will report into the Manager People Services who is the Business Owner responsible for this overarching programme of work.

We would love you to have similar lead experience gained within another organisation facing similar challenges, or:  

  • 5-10 years of payroll processing and Project Lead experience
  • Significant understanding and demonstrated application of technology.
  • Proven use of business and functional analysis skills in providing innovative solutions to business problems
  • A consultative approach, including persuasion and influencing of stakeholders/decision makers
  • The desire to own this contract where you will manage your day, delivering results but still keeping a focus on detail
  • Ability to give clear concise direction and lead a team of people without being their direct manager - providing motivation and guidance

We are open to both daily rate contractors or fixed term contracts.
