About our business:
Our Mail and Logistics business is a leading logistics provider in New Zealand. Our team of 8,000 people move hundreds of millions of mail and parcel items into all corners of the country every year, connecting New Zealanders with each other and the world.

About the role:
Basically, as our administrator, you will have your finger on the pulse of our products. You'll be using a specialised ordering system to make sure that all our products that we supply both internally and externally are ordered and supplied, and you know where things are at. Your number one priority will be managing those transactions to delight our customers!
In your role you will need to maintain product master data across products like the sending products you see on a wall of a retail outlet when you want to post a parcel, through to ordering uniforms and e-bikes.
You will be working with purchase orders, making sure they are correct and ensuring the correct financial information goes into each order. With an eye for detail, you will get to understand the supply chain and get to make some improvements along the way.

Ideally we'd like you to have some of the following:

  • Demonstrated analytical skills and strong attention to detail
  • Technology savvy with previous experience in an ERP system and Excel
  • Supply Chain, purchasing or ordering experience.
  • A focus on service delivery and an interest in having conversations with people rather than sitting behind a screen.
  • You'll be joining a great team who know how to work hard and have fun at the same time.

We've attached a JD on our careers page: www.jobs.nzpost.co.nz – but visit our website, see what we're doing and what we're about then apply on line.
