 A bit about your role:

You'll find yourself advising, guiding and generally being a payroll superstar to ensure all our people receive accurate and timely pay service.  You'll be taking calls and emails from out leaders and their teams resolving those queries and stepping in to be the escalation point for more complex issues.

The exciting part:

Opportunities to learn galore!  Did you know we operate one of the most complex payrolls in New Zealand?  This is a perfect fixed term role to stretch and develop not only your payroll skills.  You'll also get to work on ad-hoc projects for the Team Manager along with mentoring of the other Payroll Specialists.  We also love morning teas!

We have a great payroll system that gives our teams more opportunities to provide the business with efficiencies.

This is where you come in:

We can promise that you will be busy! And yes, there will be payroll deadlines that you will need to meet.  You'll be managing and resolving all pay issues; Identifying and dealing with potential risk areas or employee issues; actively seeking out opportunities to improve current processes and assist (and in some cases lead) in the review and development of payroll processes, procedures.

You will have experience in a high-volume payroll processing environment and be the sort of person that loves the detail and is committed to getting the job done.  You will pride yourself on the service delivery to our internal customers and it would be great if you were keen to get involved in projects.
