  • Based in our Parnell Office.

New Zealand Post has a rich history stretching back to the early 1830s when whalers, missionaries and traders had to rely on occasional passing ships. Today, New Zealand Post is a successful commercial entity competing in local and global markets, focusing on delivering what people care about.

We've built an awesome in-house digital team to design, develop and continuously improve digital products and services for our customers. This is a great time to join and be part the team that creates stunning responsive websites, apps and digital retail interfaces.

As an Agile Tester, you'll be a collaborative member of a Scrum team, and be tasked with writing and executing test cases against stories and creating and maintaining automated tests in-line with agreed testing standards and practices.  You'll document defects and make these visible to the teams and Product Owner and provide feedback on user stories from a quality point of view, promoting bug prevention strategies, testability, accessibility and other QA concepts.  You'll be proactively involved in the end-to-end lifecycle of digital features including code reviews, user stories grooming, requirements understanding.

Key to your success in this role is your relevant, proven experience including development, testing and test automation, gained in a comparable environment.   You'll have a deep knowledge of test methodologies, writing test plans, creating test cases and debugging along with demonstrated subject matter expertise and an understanding of testing/QA best practices. You'll bring extensive technical understanding across the digital domain and experience successfully contributing to development teams in an Agile/Scrum environment (while ideally holding agile certification).

In return, you'll have the opportunity to work with like-minded, talented and creative people in an Agile/Scrum environment with a shared passion for creating memorable digital experiences.
