As a Test Analyst in our team, you'll be testing a wide variety of products and systems we use at NZ Post to ensure project deliverables are timely and of high-quality.  For this particular role, you will be working with our financial management systems so you will need to bring your strong financial background in order to succeed in this role.

You will be involved in creating a range of test assets such as test designs, test cases, test scripts and then be responsible for implementing these.  You'll also be logging and tracking defects according to the defect management process.

Have you got what it takes?

We're looking for someone with a strong understanding of financial systems, so you will need to have an analytical background and experience working either in the finance industry or with financial management systems.  That's not all though, you'll also need:

  • Good understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and best practices
  • Understanding of requirements and the project lifecycle
  • Confident in customer-facing roles and corporate environments
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate within project teams
  • Good troubleshooting, problem-solving and documentation skills
  • Excellent time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Able to handle multiple concurrent assignments and activities
