  • Day shift, 6am to 2:30pm, Sunday to Thursday
  • Based at our mail and parcel processing centres, Christchurch

Must be flexible to change shifts and work overtime at relative short notice.

New Zealand Post's parcel business is booming thanks to the growth in online shopping - which means our parcel processing sites are busier than ever before! We have cutting-edge, automated parcel processing technology, supported by a dedicated team of Electrical Service Technicians... could you be our next team member?

Full training on our machines will be provided however you must already have either New Zealand Electrical Registration or Electrical Service Technician Registration with papers A & B (a junior technicians who are part way through their EST certification could also be considered). 

We're looking for a machine maintenance technician with skills in fault-finding and general mechanical aptitude. This is a sole charge role, so you will be a practical problem solver who is calm and logical under pressure - as it will be your role to ensure any breakdowns get back on track as smoothly and efficiently as possible. You'll need a positive and flexible attitude and enjoy playing an important role in delivering what our customers care about - their precious parcels!
