Due to an internal promotion, we are now on the hunt for a new Automation Planning Manager to join our National Processing & Automation team.
In the words of the incumbent, no two days are ever the same in this unique role, which sees you ensuring that processing operations at our automated mail and parcel processing sites nationwide are supported effectively to ensure optimum processing outcomes. Working closely with the various site leaders, operations, sales, technology and national processing teams you'll act as a trusted advisor and take the forecasting data and turn it into tangible sortation plans that work and optimise our efficiency.
You will also provide leadership, guidance and coaching to a team of analysts.
This role is based at our Highbrook campus in East Tamaki, however due to the national focus of the role, travel to our other sites is a key element of the role.
Mōu - About you
You could come from an operational background, with production and planning running through your veins, or maybe you are super analytical and tech savvy, wanting to get your hands dirty supporting operations or maybe you're an engineer looking for a new challenge, either way you'll be a strong people leader with a continuous improvement mindset.
You'll couple this with:
- Being a collaborator and relationship builder
- A good communicator at all levels, and taking the complex and making it easy to understand
- The ability to translate data and information into action and outcomes
- Being tech savvy, navigating your way around formulas in Excel. An understanding of SQL is desirable
- An analytical curiosity and a relentless pursuit for better
