Graphic and Motion Designer at New Zealand Post, Wellington
Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About this role
This is a great time to be part of our organisation and part of our team. We launched our new brand last year and have many unique projects on the horizon. We're on a big journey to transform and evolve our brand and business, and we're excited for someone new to be a part of it!
Mō te Tukurau Aotearoa - About NZ Post
NZ Post are the hands, wheels and wings that deliver what New Zealanders care about. Through rain, hail or shine, day or night, we're out there getting your items from A to B in record time. Visual communications play a vital role in our customer satisfaction and that's where you come in.
Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
We're looking for an experienced graphic designer who also loves crafting 2D animations. You'll have the opportunity not only to create beautiful graphic solutions, but to collaborate with our videographer to bring your graphics to life through animation. This ranges from creative transitions and titles through to full animated story telling for the Collectibles product range - some of which touch on NZ's most prized taongas from our sport, culture and environment.
Mōu - About you
To succeed in this role, you'll need to show us your cv of experience of several years in graphic design and 2D animation roles from either agency or inhouse design teams.
Key will be your experience in visual identity graphic design. It goes without saying that you'll have deep knowledge of Adobe Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects.
You'll be keen to mentor the junior designers in our team and have experience and a passion for using design to build internal culture.
Please also provide a link to your portfolio and motion reel to support your application.
He Aha Te Pai - What you'll love about us!
You'll be surrounded by dedicated creatives who love crafting visuals that tell the NZ Post story through graphic design, videography, photography and animation. We're focussed, engaged, love working together and challenging each other to produce the very best. We leave the design egos at the door and believe that even the smallest design job is an opportunity to make a difference, to our people, our customers and our senders/receivers out there in NZ.
