Executive Assistant to the Chief People Officer at New Zealand Post, Auckland

Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role

Working with our Chief People Officer (the delightful Monica Ayers), you'll provide professional, executive level support and assistance.  Everything from diary and email management, travel bookings through to developing and coordinating board report content and managing a series of projects and programmes.  You'll fundamentally become an extension of Monica and make her working life seamless.  

You'll also provide support to the wider People Leadership team. You'll do this through understanding both the team's and Monica's goals and ambitions, and then using your considerable judgement, superior attention to detail and proactive thinking to pull it all together.   

Our offices are located in Highbrook, however we offer flexible work from home arrangements.

Mōu - About you

As an experienced Personal or Executive Assistant, you'll be used to supporting at a senior level in large and complex organisations.

You'll couple this with:

  • Being tech savvy and a dab hand / SME on MS Office including Teams and SharePoint
  • The ability to work under pressure and multi-task
  • A proactive approach and the ability to stop small issues from becoming problems with early intervention
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)

It goes without saying, but we'll say it anyway, as this role has access to confidential and sensitive information, a high level of trustworthiness and discretion is essential.
