About the Role
Based at Gracefield Innovation Quarter and reporting to the Analytical Team Leader, this role is to perform, develop and validate analysis methods to support cGMP pharmaceutical development, focusing on quality and optimum delivery to clients. This role also includes general laboratory analysis, housekeeping, and input into reviewing and updating processes and procedures. About you
You are expected to support the Analytical Team Leader and contribute to continuous improvement in efficiency, quality and safety practices, implementation of corrective actions and change control processes as well as participate in procedure reviews, updates, and staff training. You have a sharp eye for detail and accuracy along with the ability to prioritise to meet deadlines. Establishing and maintaining effective stakeholder relationships is a normal part of everyday life to you. You are digitally savvy and keen to embrace and apply new technologies. With an agile way of working and a growth mindset, you will be set to be future-ready.
You'll bring with you:
- Experience in the use of HPLC to determine the purity and assay of organic compounds
- Knowledge of the operation of modern chromatographic instruments ideally with working knowledge of Waters® Empower® software
- Expertise in general quantitative analytical techniques, including but not limited to: HPLC, GC, FT-IR, and Titration (including KF)
- Academic background to tertiary level in chemistry
- Experience: working within a GMP focussed quality system, current equipment, and software qualification practices, writing, and reviewing standard operating procedures
- Familiarity with Microsoft ® applications
- Excellent time management skills
