We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead two priority initiatives that will strengthen NHC’s physical security, customer insight capability and operational resilience. This role is a fixed-term opportunity until the end of June 2027.

Reporting to the Manager, Programme Delivery, you will lead the Physical Security Uplift and the migration from InMoment XI to Qualtrics XM. You will manage both initiatives from planning through to implementation and operational handover, bringing together business, technical and specialist resources to deliver secure, sustainable outcomes. You will provide clear oversight of delivery, risks and dependencies, while ensuring sponsors have the information needed to make timely decisions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead both initiatives through planning, delivery, cutover and operational handover within agreed scope, timeframes and budget.
• Develop integrated delivery plans, milestones, budgets, dependencies and governance reporting.
• Oversee immediate CCTV improvements and discovery for a future CCTV and card access solution.
• Deliver the Qualtrics XM implementation and migration from InMoment XI while maintaining continuity of customer feedback and reporting.
• Coordinate internal specialists and external vendors, ensuring delivery requirements, responsibilities and acceptance criteria are clear.
• Manage project risks, assurance and operational readiness, escalating significant issues, decisions and trade-offs early.

Skills & Experience| Ngā pukenga me ngā wheako

To be successful in this role you will bring:

• At least five years’ experience leading complex business and technology projects involving multiple stakeholders, competing priorities and significant delivery risk.
• Experience delivering a SaaS implementation, platform migration, system replacement or technology-enabled business change.
• Strong project governance, planning, risk and financial management skills, including clear reporting and timely escalation.
• Experience managing data migration, integration, testing, cutover and transition to operational ownership.
• Experience coordinating business and technical specialists and managing vendor-led delivery or external implementation partners.
• The ability to work effectively with executive sponsors, business owners and vendors to support decisions and deliver practical outcomes.
• Sound judgement and adaptability, with the ability to lead concurrent initiatives and surface risks and trade-offs in an evolving environment.
