About the Senior Advisor, Performance & Outcomes Regions role:

This is a key role within the Regional Injury Prevention Team. You will provide the evaluative, analytical and reporting expertise for the team as well as other key Injury Prevention stakeholders.

Your primary responsibility is to establish and maintain evaluation processes and tools for reporting on a range of performance metrics including benefit realisation, Return on Investment and Outstanding Claims Liability for Injury Prevention. You will also be responsible for managing the reporting requirements from Regional Injury Prevention Specialists, delivery and channel partners, producing reports and analysing and evaluating performance against agreed expectations and outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

Develop and maintain a co-ordinated monitoring and evaluation framework (including associated reporting) that tracks key performance indicators and targets across all Injury Prevention portfolios

Review the delivery performance of the Regional Injury Prevention Specialists (including regionally-based suppliers) and ensure that the Team Manager has access to meaningfull and valid information about delivery performance

ᅡ아ᅠᅡᅠᅡᅠᅡᅠᅡᅠᅡᅠᅡᅠᅡᅠ Present performance information to management as required to ensure they have a high level of understanding of the delivery performance

ᅡ아ᅠᅡᅠᅡᅠᅡᅠᅡᅠᅡᅠᅡᅠᅡᅠ Ensure that the reporting and analytical needs for the wider team and other key Injury Prevention stakeholders are met including any regional data, insights, intelligence and evidence from ACC and other sources

ᅡ아ᅠᅡᅠᅡᅠᅡᅠᅡᅠᅡᅠᅡᅠᅡᅠ Provide enterprise level insight and intelligence regarding Injury Prevention to support Injury Prevention priorities, strategy and programmes and potential opportunities for investment in the future

ᅡ아ᅠᅡᅠᅡᅠᅡᅠᅡᅠᅡᅠᅡᅠᅡᅠ Contribute to the design, development and review of ACC¬タルs Injury Prevention Priorities, Strategies and Programmes by providing portfolio specific insights and recommendations for implementation

ᅡ아ᅠᅡᅠᅡᅠᅡᅠᅡᅠᅡᅠᅡᅠᅡᅠ Identify, understand, analyse, report on trends, underlying causes, insights, risks and development from data reported provide recommendations that inform actions and decisions needed to improve performance

ᅡ아ᅠᅡᅠᅡᅠᅡᅠᅡᅠᅡᅠᅡᅠᅡᅠ Collaborate with other Business Analysts across ACC to ensure consistency of methods, data use and understanding.

Successful candidates will possess the following knowledge, experience, qualifications and skills:

  • A tertiary qualification in business/economics or related discipline, or equivalent work experience
  • Proven analytical and research skills including the ability to analyse and interpret a wide variety of statistical and performance related data
  • Understanding of the health sector and/or best practice approaches to Injury Prevention
  • Proven success in delivery of supplier performance monitoring and analysis, and significant experience in use of information management and reporting tools
  • Extensive experience working with customers to understand and clarify needs, and demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships to ensure collaboration
  • Sound understanding and practical experience in developing and implementing monitoring and evaluation frameworks
  • Strong working knowledge of current risk and compliance management standards
  • Excellent interpersonal, relationship management and negotiation skills
  • Ability to influence without having direct authority
  • Able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation
  • Self-management including the ability to manage own time, identify and manage competing priorities and demonstrate good problem solving skills
  • Able to work independently, under pressure and meet deadlines.
