Senior Risk & Compliance Advisor Perm, Wellington applications close 17 Jan 2018

The Risk and Compliance Office is looking for a Senior Enterprise Risk & Compliance Advisor to provide risk management leadership and advice.

About the role:

The Risk & Compliance Office is responsible for integrating and embedding risk management across ACC. We need a Senior Enterprise Risk & Compliance Advisor to help us achieve this.

In this role you'll work closely with the business to ensure ACC's risk management framework is embedded in our operational processes and practices. Your understanding of risk management will enable you to take a pragmatic approach, working with ACC's business groups to ensure their risk identification, assessment and management is aligned and reported, comprehensively and consistently.

You'll be working with a small team of risk practitioners who work closely together. It is essential for you to actively support a network of key internal and external customers to manage any aspect of risk. Other key accountabilities will include:

ᅡ아ᅠᅡᅠᅡᅠᅡᅠᅡᅠᅡᅠᅡᅠᅡᅠ Providing robust and tailored risk advice to business groups

ᅡ아ᅠᅡᅠᅡᅠᅡᅠᅡᅠᅡᅠᅡᅠᅡᅠ Encourage, monitor and support risk response plans

ᅡ아ᅠᅡᅠᅡᅠᅡᅠᅡᅠᅡᅠᅡᅠᅡᅠ Lead the timely production of regular risk reporting for the Executive and the Board

What we're looking for

The Senior Enterprise Risk & Compliance Advisor we're looking for is someone who is passionate about managing risk for success; will be a trusted expert who engages with a wide range of stakeholders, and can be depended on for support.

ᅡᅠ

Being proactive and enthusiastic is a must. You will show due diligence in all areas of your work and will also pride yourself on good stakeholder management.

ᅡᅠ

You'll have a strong ability to work as part of a team and be comfortable communicating and preparing comprehensive reports to audiences of all levels.

ᅡᅠ

Confidence and experience in working within a corporate business environment and exposure to government organisations is preferable.

ᅡᅠ

If you have a consultative style, great facilitation skills and are comfortable working across teams then we encourage you to utilise your business acumen to make a difference with us.
