Ko tā mātou mahi - Our Role
We are currently recruiting for an engaging Advisor - Government Relations to provide quality service to the Minister, Associate Ministers of Housing and the Chief Executive of Kāinga Ora. As the Advisor - Government Relations, you will be a natural problem solver while also sharing your knowledge of Parliament and Government within Kāinga Ora.
This role is responsible for:
- Preparing draft replies to ministerial and chief executive correspondence, parliamentary questions, and OIA requests
- Assisting with projects such as preparing for select committee hearings
- Drafting of reports, editing and peer review
- Provision of responses to requests for information from the Minister's office
- Maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders
- Sharing knowledge and information across the wider business

- Previous experience writing and editing high quality responses in a government context
