Ko tā mātou mahi - Our Role
Reporting to the Building Inspections Team Leader, you'll provide assistance with the management of the onshore and offshore manufacturing inspections process as well as compliance scheduling. Ensuring the consistent quality of inspections and compliance verification methods, reviewing innovative building methodologies and QA systems.
You will be part of the team creating efficient building and compliance processes, maintaining and developing your competency level, and have the right training and support to succeed. This role demands excellent communication and people skills, a strong construction background with inspections/regulatory knowledge.
Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu - What you will bring
The role needs a significant inspections knowledge / expertise at all complexity levels. Along with a collaborative approach and outcomes focus, the ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- 5 - 10 years experience in a construction management or building regulatory role
- Experience in compliance scheduling
- Experience and/or working knowledge of onshore and offshore manufacturing, inspections, quality assurance frameworks and auditing process is preferred.
- A relevant building and/or design qualification satisfying the Building (Accreditation of Building Consent Authorities) Regulation 18 requirements
- Strong and proven commitment to relationship building and working in partnership with key internal stakeholders, the building sector, and other external stakeholders including Iwi
