Contribute to the Electoral Commission's vision of a healthy democracy by contributing to the long-term strategic direction of the Commission. Be part of the successful preparation and conduct of General Elections, by-elections and referenda.
Salary band $75-$83k
He aha tāu e mahi ana | What you'll be doing
You will:
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of services to voters by designing and implementing solutions that are fit for purpose.
- Undertake and manage projects and tasks from concept through to completion
- Identify issues and help determine business needs and requirements.
- Design, develop, test and implement solutions, ensuring all statutory and administrative requirements are considered.
- Support and monitor the delivery of voting services to New Zealanders.
Ko ngā mea ka hiahiatia e koe kia angitū | What you'll need to succeed
You will need:
- Experience in leading either whole or major components of small/medium scale operational delivery projects, preferably within the public sector
- Demonstrated ability to identify and articulate issues or opportunities, and design appropriate solutions
- Experience in developing and implementing practical business solutions
- Demonstrated communication and liaison skills with proven ability in relationship management
- Experience in using, and a demonstrated understanding of, recognised business tools, processes and systems.
