Mō te tūnga | About the role

We are seeking two to five registered psychologists to join our supportive team in Hamilton. Our office provides a professional and collegial environment, with the possible consideration of flexible working options, peer supervision, and training opportunities. The team work closely together and collaborate with other Psychologist Teams and Offices across New Zealand, as well as other groups in Ara Poutama Department of Corrections. The role involves working with interesting diverse clients, including in prison and community settings, conducting assessments, therapy, and case consultations. Comprehensive training and supervision are provided, with opportunities for court assessment reports and providing expert testimony by senior psychologists. Ngā painga | The benefits

The salary range for the role is $83,286 - $133,370 per annum. Frontline Psychologists also have the ability to work towards additional allowances and have allocated professional development funding. We may also offer flexible and/or part-time options for working hours, depending on the work demand. Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.

In addition to your salary, become eligible for five weeks of annual leave after one year of service, increasing to six weeks after four years of continuous service.
