Elevate your career at the Dunedin Psychologists' Office! We're on the lookout for an enthusiastic registered psychologist to join our dedicated professional team. Dive into a variety of clinical tasks across both prison and community environments. Tasks include undertaking bespoke individual assessments and treatment tasks, facilitating treatment programmes (e.g., the Short Violence Prevention Program [SVPP]) with individual clients, and completing formal NZPB risk assessments, court (risk) reports, and court health assessments.

Make a real difference to the lives of our clients across Otago, Southland, Central Otago, and South Canterbury.  As a Departmental psychologist you will also use your clinical expertise to provide professional advice that contributes to reducing reoffending and making our communities safer.

Ngā painga | The benefits

The salary range for the role is $83,286 - $133,370 per annum. Frontline Psychologists also have the ability to work towards additional allowances (up to $8,500) and are allocated generous professional development funding (up to $6000 over two years).  We may also offer flexible and/or part-time options for working hours. Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
