Mō te tūnga | About the role
We are looking for Hikitia Support Broker Māori to join our team at Tongariro Prison focusing on Oranga Hinengaro (Mental Health). You will play a vital role in supporting mental health interventions for vulnerable men in our care. This will involve acknowledging the intricate and interconnected histories of trauma, mental health challenges, substance use, unhealthy relationships, and other socio-economic factors, which often contribute to their history of involvement in offending.
