We're looking for a dedicated and proactive Administration Support Officer to join our Pae Ora (Health) Services team at Christchurch Men's Prison in a full-time, permanent role. This position is central to ensuring smooth operations and accurate management of medical information.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining and updating medical records
- Reception duties and scheduling appointments
- Coordinating travel bookings and managing calendars
- Supporting the team with day-to-day administrative tasks
- Maintaining databases and ensuring operational efficiency
This is a dynamic role offering variety, challenges, and continuous support to help you succeed.
Mōu | About you
You'll bring:
- Strong computer skills and fast, accurate keyboarding
- Experience with Word and Excel (essential)
- Familiarity with SAP and MedTech (advantageous)
- Knowledge of health systems and medical terminology (preferred)
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach

The full salary range is $64,717 – $68,434 per annum. Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
