Mō te tūnga | About the role
The Asset Management team delivers a wide range of infrastructure projects through our Capital Plan. We are looking for a Portfolio Coordinator to support our Portfolio Management Office by ensuring portfolio processes and controls are effectively managed. This role involves maintaining documentation, coordinating reporting for governance groups, and supporting programme boards. You will also assist in maintaining the portfolio framework and strategy while facilitating workshops, meetings, and other portfolio-related activities.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop skills in portfolio management within a large government organisation, working closely with experienced professionals to support the delivery of critical infrastructure projects.

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills are key, along with the ability to build rapport and effectively engage with others. Ideally, you will have:
- Experience in a portfolio, programme, or project environment (preferred but not essential).
- Strong administrative and analytical skills in a corporate or public sector setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and experience with P3 tools like Sentient (or similar) is beneficial.
Ngā painga | The benefits
The midpoint of the salary range is $89,225 per annum and the full range (85%-120%) is $75,842 - $107,070 per annum. Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
