About the Role
We have a permanent, part time (0.5FTE) opportunity available within our Vaccinator Workforce Team as an Administration Coordinator.
In this role, you will provide a range of day-to-day administrative coordination functions, focusing mainly on the training and support of regional processing teams to operate the Workforce Requests Portal, where applications for authorisation are lodged. This role also performs other admin and coordination tasks, including processing of vaccinator authorisation applications, various reporting of vaccinator training and authorisation status, and project coordination and product delivery to enable the Prevention Immunisation Directorate to deliver on a high-quality work programme.

The Vaccinator Workforce Team provides operational management over processes supporting vaccinator training and authorisation. This work includes engaging with vaccinators and other clinical stakeholders to ensure training and authorisation is carried out in an accurate and timely manner. This is done primarily by supporting the regional administrators and Medical Officers of Health who process the majority of vaccinator applications.
About you
As an Administration Coordinator, you will be pro-active and enthusiastic individual who works well as part of a team but can use your initiative and work independently when needed. You will be required to work with a range of teams and audiences in this role so you will need to be an excellent communicator who is able to engage with stakeholders and network across the NPHS teams and the wider organisation.
- A relevant tertiary qualification – or comparable experience
- Proven experience in administration and / or coordination
- Experience training and supporting others to operate IT processing systems
- Experience with data entry and data quality
- Proven ability to provide strong administrative support across programmes of work
- Excellent prioritisation skills, ability to use initiative, work under pressure and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
