National Work Related Expenses Lead - People & Culture at Te Whatu Ora, All Locations

About the Role 

The primary purpose of the role is to lead the implementation of a National Processing Hub for Work Related Expenses including managing the overall day to day processes, systems and reporting ensuring that employees are paid their claims on time and correctly according to the relevant clauses within the Collective Agreements.   

About you 

You bring 8–10 years' leadership experience in complex organisational environments, confidently navigating multiple stakeholders, operational pressures, and legislative requirements.

You have proven experience in establishing new functions, developing and embedding processes, and leading teams through change to ensure successful delivery in challenging settings.

Hands-on experience implementing Collective Agreement and HNZ Policy clauses into payroll systems ensures compliance and accuracy.

You are skilled in developing reporting that reflects team productivity and accuracy, providing insights that drive performance, continuous improvement, and informed decision-making.
