About the Role
As the Head of Information Management, you will lead the development, implementation and ongoing improvement of Health New Zealand's information and records management function at national, regional and local levels.
You will design and embed the frameworks, policies, governance, tools and reporting required to ensure Health NZ meets its statutory obligations, strengthens information management maturity, and enables better decision-making across the organisation.
In this role, you'll champion an information management culture, lead strategic initiatives, oversee enterprise tools such as Pīkau and Castlepoint, and guide a talented team to foster excellence and continuous improvement. You will also play a key role in ensuring strong relationships across a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
This is a rare opportunity to build and lead a national information management framework at scale. You'll influence strategy, uplift capability, and strengthen information governance across the organisation. About you
As the Head of Information Management, you will bring:
- Minimum of 15 years' experience in information and records management
- Extensive people leadership experience, including leading through other leaders
- Proven experience developing and embedding information management strategies, frameworks and processes
- Strong stakeholder management capability within complex organisations
- Ability to operate with political and organisational savvy, navigating strategic and regulatory environments
