About the Role
As a Senior Advisor, Purchasing and Contracting, you will play a key role in supporting the National Public Health Service (NPHS) with end-to-end procurement and contract management activities. Working closely with stakeholders across Health NZ, you will provide expert advice, analyse procurement and contract data, support contract renewals, and help drive nationally consistent procurement and contracting practices. This is an opportunity to combine your analytical, relationship-building and problem-solving skills to deliver high-quality procurement outcomes that support equitable and effective health services for communities across Aotearoa New Zealand

- Experience in procurement, purchasing and contracting within the public sector.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data and insights into clear recommendations.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with a collaborative and solutions-focused mindset.
- Well-organised, adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
