About the Role

As a Senior Procurement Advisor, you will provide expert procurement and probity advice to regional Planning, Funding and Outcomes (PFO) teams. You'll lead or support negotiations and finalisation of complex agreements, develop high-quality procurement methodologies, and drive continuous improvement across processes and practices. This role requires strong collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including Hauora Māori Services, to ensure procurement aligns with government rules and supports equity.

About you

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

• A relevant graduate qualification.
• 3–5+ years' experience in senior procurement roles, ideally in health or social services.
• Proven ability to manage complex procurement processes and navigate AOG procurement practices.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for diverse audiences.
• Experience applying Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles in practice.
• Experience coaching colleagues and providers on procurement approaches.
• Previous leadership-level responsibility for building partnerships across sectors, including Māori and Pacific communities.
