About the Role
As a Payroll Administrator, you will be based within the Staff Service Centre in Penrose, supporting the effective and timely delivery of payroll and employee reimbursement services. This role is essential in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a high standard of customer service for our workforce.
You will be responsible for processing payroll-related data, including expense and reimbursement claims, ensuring all transactions meet tax, audit, and policy requirements. You'll respond to payroll queries, resolve issues efficiently, and work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to meet service level timeframes.

About You
As a Payroll Administrator, you will bring:
- Experience in payroll or accounts administration
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and compliance
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- A customer-focused approach with clear written and verbal communication skills
- An understanding of, or willingness to learn about, Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its application in the workplace
Experience in a large or complex organisation and at least two years' payroll or accounts experience will be advantageous.
