Whakatāne Hospital Nursing Resource Team has a number of permanent positions available for experienced Registered Nurses. This role covers all three shifts; mornings, afternoons and night duties over seven days as per roster guidelines.
The Nursing Resource Team role is part of our variance response and is dedicated to meet unexpected short notice roster gaps from wards/departments and to be deployed to patient areas experiencing periods of high demand. There will be a roster of guaranteed shifts across a variety of acute care areas including Medical, Surgical, and other acute care areas such as ED and Intensive Care HDU - following appropriate orientation. Ideally, you will have recent acute nursing experience and knowledge of the NZ health care environment. ACLS qualifications would be an advantage.
