The Bay of Plenty District Health Board (BOPDHB) is seeking a Registered Clinical Psychologist to join their vibrant and dynamic service, Voyagers (Maternal Infant, Child Adolescent Mental Health Services) in Whakatāne. This is a permanent full-time position.
Voyagers Whakatāne is committed to implementing high standard models of treatment, as well as the necessary training and ongoing supervision that such pathways require.
Voyagers Whakatāne delivers an Incredible Years Specialist Service. We are also part of a robust eating disorders service that delivers best practice models of care including Family Based Treatment (FBT) and Adolescent Focussed Therapy (AFT). We have an ongoing professional development and supervisory relationship with the New Zealand Eating Disorders Clinic. Voyagers are also part of the process of implementing a Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) intensive programme for adolescents in the BOPDHB area. There are District Health Board wide forums for psychologists, as well as psychologists and psychiatrists to network and share professional development opportunities.
