New Graduate Registered Midwife at Bay of Plenty District Health Board (Tauranga/Whakatane), Bay of Plenty

We are excited to announce that we have three permanent positions available for new graduate midwives to commence their careers and join our efficient and caring team here in the Maternity Unit at Tauranga Hospital. These positions will commence in January and April 2022.
On successful completion of the Midwifery First Year of Practice Programme employment as a Registered Midwife will continue with the Bay of Plenty District Health Board (BOPDHB). Hours will be 0.8FTE working rostered shifts. Bay of Plenty District Health Board offers a comprehensive New Graduate Midwifery programme, including ongoing preceptorship and exciting professional development opportunities. You will be a part of a supportive team of midwives and nurses whilst you put the skills you have acquired into practice.
The Ministry of Health Voluntary Bonding Scheme is available to those graduates who are interested. This scheme offers financial incentive to graduates who have a commitment to working in the Bay of Plenty region.
