Whakatāne Hospital has recently undergone a shift review and is looking to recruit enthusiastic Medical Radiation Technologists to work in our friendly Radiology Department, which is a small but busy general hospital serving the widely dispersed Eastern Bay of Plenty area. We have 3 permanent positions available between 0.8FTE and 1.0 FTE.
The positions would suit experienced MITs, or final year students about to graduate. You will be required to participate in the out-of-hours roster. You will also need to be prepared to work rostered duties which include weekend and public holiday dayshifts, evening and night shifts.
The department has 2 general radiology rooms, a CT scanner and 2 Ultrasound rooms.
CT experience is not essential as training will be given.
