Would you like to join our dynamic nursing and midwifery team at Tauranga Hospital?
We are looking for Registered Nurses with an interest in maternity care to work in our busy Maternity Unit. Permanent part time positions are available with hours negotiable up to 64 hours per fortnight.
If you have recent experience in a maternity environment and would like to join our close supportive team we'd love to hear from you.
You will have the ability to work across the scope of nursing practice while being guided by a team of dedicated midwives in a secondary care unit. Our team is committed to providing excellence in clinical care and maintaining a nurturing environment for mothers and their babies.
If you would like the opportunity to work in a unit which retains a community focus where staff are supported with ongoing professional development, including postgraduate study then this is the role for you.
Knowledge of Tikanga, Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and the principles of Kaupapa Māori is also an asset and applicants must be committed to implementing Te Toi Ahorangi strategy to ensure patients and their whānau move towards Toi Ora.
