Physiotherapist - Inpatient Rotational at Bay of Plenty District Health Board (Tauranga/Whakatane), Bay of Plenty

Are you looking to join an amazing team of Physiotherapists and Allied Health staff based at Whakatāne Hospital? We now have an exciting opportunity for a full time Physiotherapist to join our Inpatient Allied Health team on a 12-month fixed term contract.  

In the sunny eastern coast of New Zealand's North Island, the Bay of Plenty really is just that, offering vast golden sand beaches, bush clad mountains, lush farmlands and more. Its pleasant climate means that the area has become a favourite for holiday makers, retirees and those looking for a different lifestyle outside of the main cities. 

The Bay of Plenty District Health Board is spread across a vast geographical area and centred across two hospitals based in Tauranga and Whakatāne.  The BOPDHB is one of the Bay of Plenty's largest employers with over 4000 staff. 

He Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role

You will be working within a dynamic, fun, and supportive team to provide excellent and responsive, person and whānau-centred care. You must share our vision and commitment to delivering equitable, high-quality healthcare. This role is based across our acute inpatient wards as well as a rotation in the Community Allied Health Team, the Rehabilitation Team, and also the opportunity to work in an Outpatient setting.
