He Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role

Are you looking to join an amazing team of Physiotherapists and Allied Health staff based at Whakatāne Hospital? We now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced full time Physiotherapist to join our Inpatient Allied Health Rehabilitation team permanently. 

You will be working within a dynamic, fun, and supportive team to provide excellent and responsive, person and whānau-centred care. You must share our vision and commitment to delivering equitable, high-quality healthcare. This role is based in our inpatient team providing inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation.

The successful candidate will:

  • Ideally have at least 3 years of experience in a rehabilitation setting
  • Love working as part of a transdisciplinary team
  • Bring their passion and professionalism to the team
  • Be committed to ongoing professional development and service improvement
  • Have a current drivers licence and Annual Practising Certificate
  • Demonstrate cultural competence and health equity
