Ward 3C is a Surgical Ward that specialises in Gynaecological, Breast Care and Surgical patients. We have vacancies for a Health Care Assistant in our surgical ward at Tauranga Hospital.
The role of the Health Care Assistant is to assist the Registered Nurse deliver a high standard of nursing care to patients. This is a permanent part time position 0.8 FTE working 32 hours per week at the Tauranga Hospital.
The position involves working under the direction of our highly motivated, friendly, and enthusiastic nursing team who are committed to delivering comprehensive quality care to surgical patients. We offer and support education opportunities.
He korero mōu - About You
To be considered for this role it is considered an asset if you have knowledge of Tikanga, Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and the principles of Kaupapa Māori. Applicants must be committed to implementing Te Toi Ahorangi strategy to ensure patients and their whānau move towards Toi Ora.
Applicants must have a Certificate in Health Care Assistance (or other relevant qualification).
