This vacancy is a permanent part time role for a Health Care Assistant working 48hours per week based at the Tauranga Hospital in the Children's Ward.
The children's ward is a 22-bed unit. Additionally attached is a 4 bedded child assessment unit and 4 bed Day stay unit
The philosophy of the children's ward is to provide quality individual family centred care in a friendly and supportive environment.
This position involves working under the direction of a skilled registered nursing team. The team is committed to child and family/whanau healthy living outcomes.

Applicants must have completed a certificate in Health Care Assistance and be available to work across all 7 days of the week morning and afternoon shifts.
A comprehensive orientation period will be provided. Additionally we offer and support education opportunities.
