He kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role
The Children's Ward/Te Whare Whakarata Taitamariki provides whānau centred care for children and adolescents in the acute care environment in Whakatāne hospital.
We are a kind, friendly team of skilled and motivated nurses all working to provide quality health outcomes for the child, family and our communities.
We have multiple permanent Registered Nurse positions available, there are both part-time and full-time positions available for the right applicant, based at the Whakatāne Hospital.

Knowledge of Tikanga, Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and the principles of Kaupapa Māori is an asset. Applicants must be committed to implementing Te Toi Ahorangi Strategy to ensure tamariki and their whānau move towards Toi Ora.
