He Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role
We are seeking a Health Care Assistant (HCA) to join our enthusiastic, dedicated Radiology Nursing Team at Tauranga Hospital.
Full-time and part-time hours can be considered. The position has a requirement to work Monday to Sunday shifts, to cover the service 8am to 8pm hours.
He Korero mōu - About You
This is a role that will require high levels of organisation and communication liaising with other health care professionals to make sure the needs of our Radiology patients are met. The role will involve some administration work, orderly support when needed as well as HCA tasks.
You will be working alongside some experienced professionals including Consultants, Registrars, Registered Nurses and Medical Radiation Technologists. Therefore, it is essential you enjoy working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, have great communication skills as well as being organised, focussed and supportive. Ideally the successful applicant will have HCA Level 4 Certificate or equivalent.
All skill development and training will be given to the successful candidate.
