We serve a population of approximately 259,000 for the major population centres of Tauranga, Katikati, Te Puke, Whakatāne, Kawerau and Ōpōtiki. Te Whatu Ora Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty is one of the Bay of Plenty's largest employers with over 4000 staff.
He Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role
Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty has a part time 0.4FTE fixed term position, working 16 hours per week available for a qualified Sonographer.
Our Sonography work varies from general, obstetrics, gynaecology, vascular and musculoskeletal scanning. While the successful candidate will be mainly based at Tauranga Hospital, they will be required to provide ultrasound coverage in Whakatāne when required.
You will be working within a team of 8 qualified Sonographers and 2 Trainees.
He Kōrero mōu - About You
The ideal candidate will need;
- General DMU/Post Graduate Diploma or equivalent
- Ideally skilled in areas such as vascular, musculo-skeletal ultrasound
- Be computer literate
- Proactive, efficiency while working
- Ability to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills
