Hauroa a Toi Bay of Plenty are looking for Health Care Assistants with a passion to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment!
We are currently seeking experienced, passionate, and driven Health Care Assistant to join our vibrant and innovative team of the Assessment Planning Unit (APU). You will be joining a skilled and knowledgeable team that aim for high-quality patient care.
Health Care Assistants work under the direction of a highly motivated, friendly and enthusiastic nursing team who are committed to delivering comprehensive quality care. We offer and support education opportunities.
There are multiple permanent part time or full-time roles available for the right applicant, please state in your cover letter how many hours you wish to be considered for. The role is based at the Tauranga Hospital.
The Assessment Planning Unit is a dynamic, fast-paced, and busy unit providing assessment and treatment for acutely unwell medical patients admitted from their GP, plus patients admitted from the Emergency department. APU consists of a triage area within 24 bedded observational ward area and eight ambulatory chairs are known as the ambulatory care unit.

Salary range for this position is $48,710 to $53,803
