He Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role
We are currently seeking a dynamic Clinical Nurse Coordinator with nursing leadership experience to be responsible for the day-to-day clinical coordination of our Emergency Department at Whakatāne Hospital.
We are looking for a compassionate leader, problem solver and critical thinker who has:
- Significant experience in a variety of nursing settings
- Proven ability and experience within an Emergency Department
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to support clients, whānau and staff
- A passion for utilising the individual skills and attributes of the team to build on a work environment that fosters collaboration, resilience and excellence in care.
- A passion for developing and bringing out the best in others.
This is a 0.8 FTE position, working 64 hours per fortnight. The role is fixed term for 6 months.
If you have excellent problem-solving skills, are able to lead nursing teams, under the leadership of the Clinical Nurse Manager and you have excellent interpersonal skills while working under pressure, we would like to hear from you, and we welcome your application. This is a designated senior nurse role and evidence of relevant post graduate education and engagement with PDRP preferably at expert level or working towards is required.
