Mō te tūnga | About the role
A 12 month fixed-term opportunity has arisen for a psychologist or intern psychologist to join our team based in Tauranga. As a part of this team, you will be exposed to a variety of work across the Bay of Plenty, Rotorua, and Taupo districts. This can include both assessment and treatment work in Probation and Prison sites. For more experienced psychologists, there are also opportunities for group-based treatment delivery. The Tauranga team is a small team of fifteen staff and the collegial environment provides strong support for psychologists at all stages of their professional career.

Utu ā-tau | Salary
The salary range for the role is $79,751 - $133,370. Frontline Psychologists also have the ability to work towards additional allowances and allocated professional development funding. Part-time and flexible work arrangements are also available to ensure a work-life balance tailored to your needs. Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.

Ara Poutama Aotearoa (Department of Corrections) Health Services lead the delivery of patient-focused primary health care services to tangata within corrections facilities across Aotearoa. Hōkai Rangi, our over-arching strategic direction, places the focus on health at the heart of our business. Building our frameworks from a Mātauranga Māori basis is our focus to drive and support equity for Māori, which in turn will contribute to achieving our outcomes of reducing reoffending.
