About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our friendly and supportive team of Dietitians at Bay of Plenty Hauora a Toi on a permanent part-time basis (20 hours per week).  You will be based in Tauranga, with the potential opportunity to provide cover to our colleagues based in Whakatāne at times. 

We are seeking a passionate therapist who will provide outstanding Dietetic care to our patients. This position would suit a clinician with experience in the health sector.  You will work within a close team who provide dietetic services to both inpatients and outpatients.

About you

Our preferred candidate will have:

  • Previous dietetic experience in a hospital setting would be advantageous
  • Sound knowledge of the use of the nutrition care process and terminology
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to work well within a team to achieve patient and whānau focused goals
  • A focus on evidence-based practice
  • Passion and a drive to make a meaningful difference through their work, alongside strong cultural awareness
