About the Role 

We are looking for an experienced Registered Mental Health Professional to join our Tauranga Adolescent Mental Health team in the beautiful Bay of Plenty. 

We are part of the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services based in Tauranga city in the beautiful Bay of Plenty.  Adolescent Mental Health is part of the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services and is a multidisciplinary team of 26 staff comprising of Nursing, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, Psychiatrists, Psychologists and Administrative Support. 

Our team practices a whānau and community connected approach, so our mahi takes place in homes, schools, community locations as well as our city-based office.  We have a learning and supportive culture within the team, which leads to opportunities for growth and empowerment for individual staff members and the service.  As well as being a part of academic teaching offering placements for professional development and qualification.

About You  

You will have a passion to work with youth and be a Registered Mental Health Professional (Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist or Social Worker) and have 2 years, or more, experience in a mental health setting, great communication skills and be able to work in a busy team environment.
